The End of the Nowhere Kingdom

“For several generations now, the Nowhere Kingdom has shown the pathetic state of the world of miseries, illusions, broken dreams and confusion. The pitiful story of Nowhere Man, Deranged (?), Super Fallusion and Morose has invigorated countless lives. Now, the story has to be told for one last time. As all things end… so does the passive reign of the kingdom dwellers...”

It was an ordinary gloomy day in the kingdom. The creatures were all engrossed reminiscing about their wretched lives. Things would never be the same again after the series of events that was about to happen.

Nowhere Man, preoccupied by his miseries in his royal throne, saw a star that shone so bright; then, there was music. Someone was calling him. The voice said: “Noah, it’s time that your illusion ends. Your family is waiting for you. The greatness you’ve always yearned to achieve is not really attained by being a king in a passive state. You have to work hard to be great. It’s time to return to reality.” Noah, the real name of Nowhere Man, was the individual who always aspired for greatness.

Super Fallusion was soaring through the sky of the kingdom. He also saw the glaring star. He heard a voice. “Paul, wake up. It’s time for you to face reality. You have to face reality. You have to pay up for your crimes. After this interlude in your life, being a hero is not that far fetched. But first, you have to stop dreaming. Once you have ended the passiveness in your life, you could be a hero by trying to alleviate other people’s suffering. It’s not too late… It’s not too late…” Paul was the human side of Fallusion.

Deranged (?) who was Dennis in the real world was sleeping. He dreamed about his best friend trying to pill him out of a ravine. His best friend told him, it’s time to stop asking questions. You are who you are. A lot of people will show you what life is all about. You should be enlightened. We’ll always be here for you. The real world is awaiting your return from your idle status. Dennis comes and we’ll answer all your questions, come…” The confused one woke up and saw that there was this star shining above him.

Morose, Mary in the real world was about to jump of a cliff in an effort to end her miseries. As she was about to jump, the blinding light shone right above her. She heard someone utter these words. “Smile… There are a lot of reasons to smile. You have people around to help you face the problems that beset you. You don’t have to bear all the miseries of the world. Your friends and families will help you bear your burdens. It’s time for you to face your problems. Mary, you are not alone…”

The rest of the kingdom also saw the light. The glimmer of hope was suddenly not so bleak at all. Every being of the Nowhere Kingdom was realizing their existence. Why are they in the kingdom when in fact they could be in the real world? Why are they enjoying the miseries that the kingdom has to offer? Why wouldn’t they help each other?

Nowhere Man, called all his subjects and said: “Yesterday, we saw a light that showed us how important going somewhere, doing something and being someone is to us. We all have a life to live. We are all a part of each and everyone’s life… to abate other people’s suffering. We have to follow the light no matter what it takes and no matter where it brings us. Believe in me, we will go somewhere… we will do something productive… and we will be someone…”

Super Fallusion added: “We will be divided in four groups - one to be led by Nowhere Man and the other three groups to be led by Deranged (?), Morose and me. There will be a lot of trials along the way… Be careful and keep in touch with reality.”

“We are still confused at this tie but as we slowly return to reality, our confusion will be abated? We’ll have to rely on each other this time?” Deranged (?) queried.

“Sob… Sob… Sob… You have to trust each other and we’ll have to push each other forward and let us not put anybody down anymore. Let us help each other and other people in the real world will help us.” Morose uttered.

The journey toward somewhere started. The difficulties were endless but with each supporting each other, this obstacle became surmountable. After several days of following the light, some of the creatures of the kingdom were unable to continue. They still had more apprehension than hope in surviving the impediment. Their desire to return to reality was continually tested as they pursued the star.

It took them several more generation before they reached half way. A big number would want to quit but others would encourage them not to. Nowhere Man, Deranged (?) Super Fallusion and Morose would tell stories about fulfillment in the real world. They were as pessimistic as the rest but it was as if a miracle happened that no matter what, they were in high spirits. The seemingly endless journey continued.

More generation passed but they didn’t quit until finally they reached reality. The star was gone and so was Nowhere Man, Deranged (?), Super Fallusion, Morose and the rest of the kingdom. They were gone forever… they left the illusion, broken dreams, confusion and miseries in the kingdom.

As if it were magic, Noah, Paul, Dennis, Mary and the rest of the inhabitants reappeared in the real world – all changed… all overflowing with optimism and everybody was raring to live their respective lives once again.

Noah returned to his family. His two kids were overjoyed by the return of their father. They now know that they would have someone to depend to. The void left by their mother’s death was finally filled. He then got a job and years later became a hotshot executive but his greatness was not only left in the boardroom. He was a great father – a model his 2 kids and 5 grand children always look up.

Paul admitted to the crimes he committed and served five years. Later, he was given a parole for his exemplary performance. He then became a firefighter… he started saving lives… braving the fumes and flames, he started fulfilling his dream… He was finally a hero… One unfortunate day on one of his rescue, upon hearing children stranded in the 2nd floor of a burning hospital… He rushed on to the second floor. He was out of air due to the fumes but his act of courage saved all three kids… before finally giving up his life. He was honored a hero at the time of his death.

Dennis finally ended his confusion. He finished his studies and later on became an instructor. Years later, he finished his masters and doctors degree at a noted university. He continued teaching and became one of the best in the academe… He taught people in order for them not to end up confused… He was honored by the government for his unequaled contribution to the academe. After several more years, he retired and spent the rest of his life with his family.

Morose has finally found her smile. With the help of her friends and her family, she finally overcame her depression. One after the other here problems were settled. She pursued a career in journalism – and became one of the paper’s ace reporter. After several more years, she shifted to the lifestyle section where he started giving advice on solving problem… she started helping people avoid the feel of depression. She later on settled down and died a peaceful death at the age of 87 years old due to old age. Ironically, she passed away with a smile on her face.

The rest also lived successful lives. They were able to end their miseries, confusions and false hopes and in return they had peace of mind, fulfillment and a lot of people supporting them.

The end of Nowhere Kingdom has dawned for these beings. Nowhere-Nowhere land was still there and will always be awaiting the next Nowhere Man, Super Fallusion, Deranged (?) and Morose. The truth is the Nowhere Kingdom never really disappears because all people go through phases in their lives wherein they are ruled by their illusions… broken dreams… confusions and miseries… The cycle never ends for the helpless kingdom.

“The end of Nowhere Kingdom was narrated for one last time in order to show that there will always be hope even if you are in the deepest and darkest vacuum of your life. People do remain in the kingdom but no matter what hope is a commodity which will always be there to provide a glimpse of good life we always yearned to have. All things are possible if you’re willing to grab or lend a helping hand… You can always go on somewhere, do something and be someone as soon as you believe in yourself.”

ZXIOXZ Visits the Nowhere Kingdom (Who'd Ever Thought This Could Happen)

Ages after ZXIOXZ’ second conquest of Earth, he (it) discovered that his (its) second defeat was caused by a measly alarm clock. This time he (it) knew he (it) was prepared to once again conquer Earth.

Beings of the nth galaxy, I have discovered that our last defeat to Earth was caused by an alarm clock. An alarm clock is one of their devise used to measure time. However, unlike their ordinary clocks and watches, the alarm clock rings to wake up its user. The ring proved detrimental to us since sound we hear is magnified a million times. That proved to be our weakness back then. So we have invented a cure for this. This time we will conquer Earth.” ZXIOXZ said to the extra-terrestrial beings.

“ZXIOXZ, please pardon me for asking, we are just about five inch short, what are our chances against those gigantic humans? This question was raised by QIX, who was back after a sabbatical.

“Loser, how dare you doubt our chances against Earth? Our armory is fifty million years ahead of Earth. They have absolutely no chance in resisting our conquest.” ZXIOXZ answered in an angry tone.

“ZXIOXZ is right! There is no room in doubting our chances. We have technology on our side.” ZIQ reiterated.

“Creatures of the nth Galaxy, are you ready to take our place in the Energy infested Earth? QAZ asked the nth Galatians.

“Let us conquer earth and take all its energy with us.” The beings of the galaxy exclaimed.

Everything was ready for their conquest. They know that victory is absolute in this case. Nothing can top them now. Nothing! No bread toaster… No alarm clocks… No nothings… The earth has never experienced a threat as grave as what the nth Galatians are capable of bringing. As they were about to enter the time warp to the blue planet, a meteor shower occurred shattering the trajectory of their time warp.

The moment they came out. They saw a very gloomy looking kingdom. The place was noiseless. The atmosphere was eerie. There was no life whatsoever. There were no signs of life.

This is not Earth? Where are we? What an obscure disposition this place is trying to project? Maybe we could conquer this instead? Hey wait, why am I asking so many questions? Why? Why? Why?” ZXIOXZ uttered.

“I’m afraid ZXIOXZ, this place might be full of dangers? What should we do?” QIX added.

“On with our plans!!! We can conquer this planet first, then Earth is next?” QAZ confidently chided.

ZIQ said: “Look up in the sky, there’s someone approaching… It looks like a bird…. No it’s a plane…?

“No it’s Super Fallusion, What brings you to this kingdom? Leave now or face my wrath.” Super Fallusion warned.

“Don’t Fallusion, let’s know their business first. What can the Nowhere Kingdom do for you? Nowhere Man blurted out.

“We are here to conquer this kingdom? You will be our slaves? What the heck, why am I asking so many questions? Why am I confused? Why are all my failures flashing before my eyes?” ZXIOXZ queried.

“You are in the land of illusion, broken dreams, confusion and miseries. Everything in here would remind you of failures. Everything… My name is Morose, they call me the dejected lass… Huh… Huh… Huh…. Sob… Sob… Sob…” Morose enunciated.

Deranged asked: “Why are you so small? Why is the sun in the center of the galaxy? What gives? What is the essence of being a woman? What is wrong with my stomach?”

QAZ said: “ you and your questions annoy me. Would you want to taste the fury of my electronutrahypersoligicitate gun? Sob… Sob… Sob… Why am I crying?”

“I always wanted to be a hero. I always wanted to be a king. I always wanted that tele-transport device my ancestors failed to give me three million light years ago. Why am I telling all my frustrations?” QIX added.

The conversation went on for several generations. The grief of Morose, the broken dream of Super Fallusion, the confusion of Deranged (?), the illusion of Nowhere Man and the chaos in the kingdom went on and on and on for several more generations. Extra-terrestrial beings of the nth galaxy started to cry and feel low about themselves. The failures they have experienced have been too much already.

The nth Galatians started to feel the dismal mood in Nowhere – Nowhere Land. They forgot everything including their plan to conquer Earth… Too busy remembering all their frustrations. Upon learning of their plan to conquer Earth, Nowhere Man told his story.

“I was part of the real world until I gave in to many of my vices. My quest for greatness failed. I wanted to be the greatest. I really aspired for that. But I wasn’t able to achieve even a fraction of my goal. Now, I am trapped here in Nowhere Kingdom until the day I finally end my illusions which I found here in Nowhere - Nowhere Land. I guess, the illusions in this kingdom have made me feel that I am the greatest… I am not to return to the real world again… “ Nowhere Man narrated.

“I am Super Fallusion. When I was a boy, I always dreamed of being a here. I never miss an episode Superman, Spiderman, Fantastic Four and all of those hero stuffs. Back then, I visualized myself of being a hero. I grew up thinking and aspiring for that dream to come true. Things did not turn out to be what they should be. I ended up being a criminal. A nuisance to the society. Here in Nowhere Kingdom, I am a hero and I may not be able to wake up again to return to reality. My broken dreams have left me wandering in this place.” Super Fallusion said.

Deranged also told his story: “When I was young, I was so stubborn that I thought I knew everything? I never extended any effort to ask questions about anything in my life? Late in my life, this multitude of questions took its toll on me? Now I’m baffled and my mind in an unending riddle? Why? Why? Why? In this kingdom, my confusion is not evident since most people are perplexed as well. I’ll remain away from reality until the day I stop asking questions and knowing the essence of my existence? What am I talking about?”

“I’m the newest member of the kingdom. I was a very jolly person. Sob… Sob… Sob… Until my entire world crumbled right before my eyes. I tried to carry all the grief of all people in the world. I tried but I failed. People were offering their help to me but I refused their assistance. For me, life is a problem that only the dejected lass can solve… Huh… Huh… Huh… I also lost my smile in the process. I’ll stay in the Nowhere Kingdom until I find my smile again… until I realize that life is worth living… until my miseries are over… I’m trapped in the kingdom.” Morose said while crying.

“I am ZXIOXZ, the leader of the nth galaxy. I have tried to conquer Earth for several times already but I failed. To add insult to injury… worthless things like a bread toaster and an alarm clock defeated me. Our galaxy has lost billions of creatures because of these disappointing conquests. Hey wait a minute… Why am I telling these things??? I guess, I’m getting the hang of things here.” A surprised ZXIOXZ uttered.

Every member of the kingdom also told his or her own disheartening story. Just when about half of the kingdom has already told the story.

QAZ interrupted. “ZXIOXZ, the more time we spend here the more beating our morale would get, At this point, I really feel very low. We can never conquer Earth.”

“These creatures are filled with pathetic stories about their miserable lives. This place is not really that energy rich since most of the energy coming from this planet is misery, failures, confusions and illusions. We should retreat before all our warrior aliens die thinking about their desolation.” ZIQ said.

Huh… Huh… Huh… Sob…. Sob… Sob… What? Where? When? How? Why? Failures… broken dreams… Noooh!” All the warrior aliens exclaimed.

“If you don’t leave, I’ll leave. I can’t take this anymore. Their wretched lives are starting to keep e going somewhere. Please…. Let us leave this place in peace. I’d rather face alarm clocks and bread toasters rather than this.” QIX desperately said.

ZXIOXZ uttered: “Let us now leave… This place is pathetic. If we stay here any longer we might get stuck forever. Nth Galatians retreat! What are we waiting for?”

With a very disconsolate heart, the extra-terrestrial beings from the nth galaxy rushed to their space shuttles. Al alien for himself (itself?). Because of this a lot of warrior aliens weren’t able to reach home. They got stranded in limbo for the next one million light years.

ZXIOXZ, QIX, QAZ, ZIQ and some warrior alien were able to return to the nth galaxy. Their plan to conquer Earth and the Nowhere Kingdom was gone for the meantime and hopefully… for good! This is another failed conquest for ZXIOXZ and his troops. They would have to undergo the process of increasing their forces in order to have another shot at conquering Earth or for that matter nowhere-nowhere land.

“This is the end of our ambition to conquer any planet? Sob… Sob… Sob… We are a big failure? Why am I saying that? Why am I asking so many questions? Why? Why? Why? Huh… Huh… Huh,,, If it weren’t for those meteor showers? Why do we always fail? And why can’t I help asking questions? Why? Why? Why?” ZXIOXZ cried.

ZXIOXZ and his warrior aliens have all the reason to be miserable because the enigma of Nowhere-Nowhere land has caught them. Now the nth galaxy is already a place of illusions, broken dreams, confusions and miseries. ZXIOXZ only hope that some light year soon they could go somewhere… do something and be someone…

Now once again, the Earth is safe from alien invaders from the nth galaxy. ZXIOXZ and his troops have failed to conquer Earth again by… would you believe… the pitiful creatures of the NOWHERE KINGDOM.

Searching for Someone to Love

Love is a thing that make me wonder,
On real matters that make me ponder.
As my feelings grew much fonder,
I'm alone with no one to bother.

Factual Fiction: Nowhere’s Ultimate Conversation

Deranged (?): “Super Fallusion?
I hope you can answer my question?
What is it that life really means?
This question have dazed me ever since?”

Super Fallusion: “Deranged (?), the answer is simple,
It’s fulfilling your dreams and aspirations,
It’s being a hero, big or little.
Unlike me, broken by my anticipation.”

Nowhere Man: “Shut up, Fallusion!
You’re answer’s a hallucination.
I’m the king of illusion,
What I say is life’s definition.”

Morose: “Pardon me your highness,
Life is just a gloomy waste.
It’s carrying others problem,
That would make life light for them.”

Deranged (?): “What a hassle?
Your answers have baffled me?
What life is to me?
Is a jigsaw puzzle?”

Nowhere Man: “No, Deranged (?),
Life may not be that strange.
It is just being the greatest,
It is just being the best.”

Morose: “Life’s a big obstacle,
An obstacle that makes me sad.
Problems I have to tackle.
Solutions I never had.”

Super Fallusion: “Not really, life’s a ruined dream,
Where really you cannot win.
I dream of being a hero,
But up to now, I’m a big zero.”

Narrator: " The land of Nowhere,
Is not a land of answers.
The question on life’s purpose,
Is a mystery only you can unravel.”

Factual Fiction: Morose Melancholic Chant

Sob… Sob… Sob…
The world’s grief I carry.
Sob… Sob… Sob…
I’m dying in melancholy.

The portals of the Nowhere kingdom,
Unhindered, I entered.
The agony that bugs me.
Has left my life’s progress to a stop.

The kingdom of illusion,
Now also the kingdom of gloom.
Merry days are gone,
Cause I refuse to make a grin.

I’m the dejected lass,
Depressed about miseries I had,
To endure everyday,
To solve it someway.

Now I rest in the kingdom,
That one day I’ll laugh again.
I wish for happiness to come,
But really, I don’t know when.

Factual Fiction: Morose Enters the Nowhere Kingdom

It was the gloomiest day in Nowhere-Nowhere land. Members of the kingdom were at their respective dwelling place just sulking about how life sucks. Little did the inhabitants of Nowhere Kingdom know that a new member is about to join them.

Nowhere Man was dejected and was on his royal throne. Super Fallusion was frowning because nothing exciting was happening inside the kingdom. Deranged (?) was unusually jubilant because he didn’t know why life sucks in the land of confusion, broken dreams and illusion.

At the east side of Nowhere – Nowhere land, there was this being that tried to carry all the grief of the world. Her name was Morose. Formerly, she was the jolliest person in town but due to a twist of faith arising from many crises in her life. She became pathetic. Now, the grief surrounding her has left her life to a halt. Gradually she was leaving reality until finally she entered the kingdom.

Upon knowing of Morose’ arrival, King Nowhere Man designated Super Fallusion and Deranged (?) to form a welcoming party. All the inhabitants were delighted by Morose, the dejected lass because they knew that another person can share in their miseries. Everything would have been fine ‘til they discovered that she was so dispirited. She totally lost her smile.

Deranged (?) tried to make the dejected one smile because he wanted to be more miserable than anybody in the kingdom. Super Fallusion, playing the hero’s role again, used every possible mean to make Morose grin but to no avail. Nowhere Man issued a royal order, “Whoever makes Morose smile will be elevated to King’s Board of Adviser.” A tempting offer, no doubt!

Because of the enticement, everybody attempted to make Morose laugh but no one was successful. Morose just refused to laugh because she refused to be comforted. She declined to be happy. For her life really sucks and nobody can’t change that fact. Her sadness brought her to Nowhere – Nowhere Land but her refusal to be assisted will make her remain in the kingdom. For how long??? For as long as she looks at life on its pessimistic side. For as long as she continues to think how miserable life is. For as long as she believes that she carries all the burden of the world.

She’ll have to reside in the kingdom as she refuse to infuse life back into her system. Morose now joins Nowhere man, Super Fallusion and Deranged (?) in representing the kingdom of confusion, broken dreams, illusion and grief. As long as the dejected lass denies herself of being happy, she cannot go on to traverse in her journey in life.

The road leading somewhere for Morose is not an easy one. First of all, her melancholy has made her unproductive in the real world. Also, her unwillingness to let others help her bring back the smile in her life would make her visit to the Nowhere Kingdom a lengthy one. Like the rest of the inhabitants of the kingdom she needs others help for her to someday or someway return to reality and totally overcome her depression. Her denial of reality inhibits her growth as an individual and only if she allow this reality to make her stronger only then can she go somewhere… do something… and be someone…

Factual Fiction: Super Fallusion Sees the Light

Super Fallusion was doing his usual chores in Nowhere Kingdom. That is safeguarding the kingdom from wrongdoers. Of course, being the resident super hero of Nowhere – Nowhere land, he has to maintain serenity in the chaotic Nowhere Kingdom. Though he usually fails, he always strives to be the ideal henchmen to Nowhere Man.

One night while doing his regular rounds around the kingdom, he saw a light that shone so bright. He approached the light and at that instance, he was puzzled. No, he wasn’t imitating Deranged (?). He just started to realize the value of his existence. Questions such as why he remains stagnant in the land of illusions, broken dreams and confusion started to bug him. What is he doing in the kingdom? Where is reality?

After deep internalization, Super Fallusion was about to return to the real world. But Deranged (?) was dejected for Super Fallusion. He can’t lose someone who have always shared in his miseries… Someone who always try to answer his numerous questions… Naturally, SN’s answers were always wrong. The true reason why the confused one never wants Super Fallusion to return to reality was simply he never really understands what reality is.

Nowhere Man issued a decree, out of his jealousy of SN’s good fate, prohibiting the hero from finally waking up from his dream. The subjects of the kingdom started calling Super Fallusion names. Turncoat, the enlightened one and other names which without a doubt would be positive adjectives in the real world.

With all the confusion around him, Super Fallusion was lost again. He failed again. His only chance to finally awaken from a broken dream was another downfall. He regrets the fact that he was given a chance to be productive in the society again and he was pulled back by the twisted mentality of the individuals comprising the kingdom.

“How can they be so rude? All I wanted was a new life and a new beginning.” He said. Tears slowly fell from his eyes, as he knew it would take several generations again before an opportunity like this will come.

The next day, SN returned to his regular duties. The kingdom was happy for they have another member who could share in their miseries… in their illusions… in their broken dreams… and in their confusion… Nowhere – Nowhere land, in fact, celebrated the return of their super hero.

It would be a big riddle to finally come out of the kingdom when your fellow lost beings is pulling you down rather than pushing you up. Opportunities like this does not come often but there are a lot who plays the role of the spoiler even if he can’t gain anything out of adding misery to others. Nowhere kingdom will always be part of the unreal as long as, its people never help each other move on somewhere… do something and be someone.

Factual Fiction: Deranged (?) Defies Nowhere

There was an unwritten rule in Nowhere – Nowhere Land that remained unbroken for several generations now. “Though shall not speak the unspoken truth.” Nobody was allowed to speak harsh words against the king of Nowhere Kingdom, Nowhere Man. A rule that nobody even dared to think of breaking even if the law has no logical basis.

Until… Deranged (?), the confused one said what no subject would dare say. He told the unspoken truth. Not really because he was against the king but because he is puzzled with so many things. Super Fallusion, being the Nowhere hero that he is, was the first to report such infraction. Deranged (?) was happy… no was sad… no was scared… no was jubilant… He really doesn’t know that fate that awaits him.

Nowhere Man immediately called for an investigation. Super Fallusion was the head of the body. He acquired the services of the 5 lost men. After mocking a trial, Deranged (?) was proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt. He was banned from entering the premises of the kingdom and was asked to go to the deepest part of Nowhere – Nowhere Land. It is a place where even a glimmer of hope of returning to reality is naturally impossible.

The confused one was flustered. He tried to ask the support of his dominion. Being as confused as he was, the people of Nowhere – Nowhere Land started to stand beside Deranges (?) and against Nowhere Man and his top henchman, Super Fallusion. They tried to show that they were against the rule with no basis but the truth was they really don’t know what they were fighting for.

Nowhere - Nowhere land was a place for instability for several generations because of the protest. Super Fallusion tried to mediate and as always, he failed to stop both sides of the conflict. Each side was concealing the truth… Each side was trying to destroy the other… Each side wanted to outwit the other…

Nowhere Man stood firm on his decision. He has left his human side in reality. The king’s fallacious side was just plain wicked. Super Fallusion was nowhere to be found. But according to reliable source he was nursing another failure and another broken dream. Deranged (?) was looking for the fountain of youth. Why? He doesn’t have a tinge of idea why.

The rift was blown out of proportion. The Nowhere Kingdom is hanging on tumultuous grounds. Yet, somehow there’s still a chance that the conflict will be settled. Then what is the moral of the story? None!!!! There can never be a moral when a mistake is supported by another mistake…. When two clashing parties both refuse to compromise… when the truth is concealed to show that they are not wrong… where people support a battle they don’t really believe in… when wrong means are patronize to prove a point. Nowhere Kingdom is not only governed by fallacy, broken dreams and illusion. It is also a place of chaos, broken promises and false declarations. Would you want to visit the Nowhere Kingdom? Factual Fiction: Chaos in Nowhere Kingdom

It was in the land away from reality that a gathering of all people of the Nowhere Kingdom was planned by Nowhere Man’s top henchmen Super Fallusion (SN) and Deranged (?). According to Super Fallusion, a gathering must be held to know every person who comes in and out of the kingdom. Deranged (?), the confused one, follows every command of SN. Not at his own will of course, but because of his confusion. Everything would be fine until….

Nowhere Man, the kingdom’s ruler, comes into the picture and insisted on not having a party. He explained that since he was the ruler of the kingdom, he should be the one to set the gathering. The king also refused to be with the kingdom’s peasants because of his nowhere royal blood. Other group started to gather, each insisting on their own will for the gathering. Super Fallusion, being the kingdom’s resident super hero, tried to settle the difference between the conflicting parties. Since he is just in a state of fallacy, he failed. Deranged (?) unable to answer his own questions was not much of help either.

The gathering had to be called off. The royal highness’ board of adviser was called to step in but to no avail. Each party wanting to get the better end of the deal – trying to get more credit for their deeds. Everything was going nowhere.

Nowhere Man, the passive ruler of the kingdom, just waited for the conflict to be settled. SN was starting to feel depressed because for him it was another broken dream and another failure. Deranged (?) was happy. Why? He’ll never know why. Obviously, a fruitful event can never progress in Nowhere-Nowhere land. A land where everybody is a nobody, everything is nothing and everything is governed by fallacy, illusion and confusion.

A glimmer of hope still exists. That somehow these poor lost beings in Nowhere Kingdom would finally snap out of their delusions, shattered lives and bewilderment. Nowhere Man, Super Fallusion, Deranged (?) and the rest of the people of the empire should find a way out of their dilemmas. This is the only way that a gathering and any important event can take place in their respectively lives.

What? I don’t know?
Where? No idea?
When? Maybe?
How? I’m confused?
Why? What, where, when, how, why?

My mind is full of questions,
And I cannot find answers,
I hope there are solutions,
As I remain to wonder,
I’m trapped here in Nowhere,
As I try to find answers,
My life would be at a pause,
In the land of confusion.

I do want to be the greatest,

Factual Fiction: A Visit to the Nowhere Kingdom

The Nowhere Kingdom is found in a far away land… away from reality. A place called Nowhere-Nowhere Land. It is characterized by three things: illusions, broken dreams and confusion. The Kingdom is inhabited by three major characters: Nowhere Man, Super Fallusion and Deranged (?). The subjects of the kingdom co-exist in living a stagnant life.

His royal highness, Nowhere Man is the chief ruler of the Nowhere Kingdom. He personifies individuals who want to be great but fail to do so. Only in a world of make believe and deception can he be great. A world known as Nowhere Kingdom. Since Nowhere Man is in a state of falsehood, the progress of his life in the real world is put to a halt.

SN or Super Fallusion is the kingdom’s resident super hero (?). He is an individual who dreams of becoming a hero but becomes the opposite. SN, a person who tries to reach the impossible will only find contentment in a world of fallacy and illusions. In reality, he is far from being a hero – but rather an unproductive member of the society and will remain trapped in Nowhere-Nowhere Land.

Deranged (?) is the confused one. He does different duties in the kingdom not because he is obliged to but due to his confusion. The confused one remains pondering on unanswered questions… What? Where? When?… This thoughts puzzle him as he tries to fill the emptiness in him. For as long as he remains dazed, he has to stay in the Nowhere Kingdom to find answers; thus, his growth as a person is put to a standstill.

Nowhere Man, Super Fallusion and Deranged (?) are just characters made up by the mind to signify the void in our lives. There will be times when we will be visiting the Nowhere Kingdom and our life would be going nowhere. Our progress as individuals will have to wait. Confusion, broken dreams and promises may bring is to Nowhere-Nowhere Land. The problem will be on how to move on from nowhere to somewhere. In case we are trapped in the Nowhere Kingdom, somebody must pull you out of the land of illusions, broken dreams and confusion. During this interlude, parents, friends, love ones and you yourself will work hand in hand to get out and continue to traverse in your journey in life.

Nowhere Man lives a life of deception and unless he returns to the real world, only then can he reach somewhere, be someone and do something productive. Super Fallusion remains dreaming and unless he wakes up to face reality, only then can he be a hero to himself and to others. Deranged (?) remains dazed and unless he clears things up, only then can he resume his journey in life. The important thing is to pray for strength and courage to move on from Nowhere to Somewhere. We all will definitely visit the Nowhere Kingdom sometime in our life but as much as possible, make it a short-lived visit.

Tall Tales: ZXIOXZ Second Conquest

Years have passed since ZXIOXZ and the creatures of the nth galaxy failed to conquer earth. ZXIOXZ, the strong-willed leader of the galaxy, has regained his (its) desire to conquer Earth. For several years since their failed conquest of Earth, the aliens of the nth galaxy were able to recover from their early defeat. With an arsenal that is several generations ahead, these three-eyed green creatures are undoubtedly confident of their next conquest.

“According to an advanced scientific study of our first defeat, the being that foiled our plans is a bread toaster. It is not really a being of their planet. It is just a simple kitchen appliance that is used to toast bread. The study also fortifies the claim that Earth is the most energy-infested planet. Therefore, it is my decision and your council of elders that we conquer Earth no matter what.” ZXIOXZ told the odd-looking creatures of his domain.

He further ordered ZIQ and QAZ to lead the mission to take over Earth. ZIQ and QAZ came with millions of warrior aliens. Besides being gifted with shape-shifting capabilities, these five inches extra-terrestrial beings had a very high sensitivity to sound. Every sound they hear is magnified by a million times its usual volume. This new capability made them invulnerable. They plan to attack at early dawn where earthlings will be caught unaware.

ZIQ said: “Here we are again in this energy-infested planet! In just a few hours, this planet will be ours. No bread toaster is going to stop us. HA! HA! HA!

“This planet is terrific! After we gain control over this planet. The universe will be easy to dominate. Hey, wait! Look at that earthling. You’re not going to stop us.” QAZ added.

“Don’t worry QAZ! I’ll try to communicate with it. Hey, you odd-looking earthling with a round body. So you are covering your face with glass. I can understand you fear us!!! Do you think that cylindrical metallic armor of yours would protect you? HA! HA! HA! No!” ZIQ voiced in a challenging manner.

“We will conquer this planet!” The rest of the beings shouted.

“So all you can do is say “TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK” while your two hands is moving around your rounded face. Those two metal ears, which are attached to the top of your rounded body coupled with your metal feet, they look pathetic! Go on cower in fear. So you have several round adjusters in your back. Maybe it’s how they recharge, isn’t it? In just a few hours, you will be our slave.” QAZ uttered to the poor earthling.

The bragging continued on for several more hours until ZXIOXZ arrived to lay claim to this productive celestial body. ZIQ and QAZ proudly told ZXIOXZ that this planet was too easy to conquer.

ZXIOXZ saying in an angry tone: “Enough of the bragging! Let’s get down to business!”

ZIQ and QAZ murmured: “Look at our leader, he is very committed in conquering this planet.”

As the aliens in the nth galaxy was preparing their weapons for the invasion. The TICK TOCK’s of the earthling suddenly became stronger and stronger. Suddenly….

“Kkkkkrrrrrriiiiinnnnnnnnggggggggggggg!!!!!! The earthling countered.

“What’s that?” ZIQ asked.

With the ultra-sensitivity to sound, the continuing ring was killing them. Their brave alien warriors were starting to fall down and die.

“Let’s retreat!!!! ZXIOXZ told his men.

“It’s better we forget our ambitions and live than pursuing it and die. The earthling is too much for us. This planet is full of unfriendly beings. Let’s leave it. Maybe it would be best if we leave this planet in peace.”

“kkkkkkkkkkkkrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg!!!” The rounded being continued.

The extra-terrestrial beings of the nth galaxy retreated. Each trying to survive the very loud ring of the earthling. Finally, they reached the nth galaxy but minus majority of its warrior aliens who didn’t survive the buzzing sound.

ZXIOXZ instructed his people to permanently dash their hopes of being the ruler of Earth. Their first mission after their failed conquest is to inflate their population again. They’ll have to find ways of strengthening their flock so that their invasion won’t be foiled again.

As for the mean time, Earth is once again safe from alien invasion. ZXIOXZ second conquest was crushed…. By would you believe… AN ALARM CLOCK.

Tall Tales: ZXIOXZ Conquers Earth

In a time when aliens of the nth galaxy were interested in expanding their domain, ZXIOXZ, their leader, had set his (its) sights our galaxy, the Milky Way. Earth, being the most energy-infested planet of our galaxy, was first on their territories to conquer.

These extra-terrestrial beings were gifted with the power to alter their size and shape. These green aliens about five inches tall have three big eyes connected to its head by antennae like structures. Having four hands and six legs, these beings are rather odd-looking.

ZXIOXZ designated QIX and ZIQ to lead the attack on Earth QIX and ZIQ carried with them about a million warrior aliens from the nth galaxy. When they reached Earth, they were not noticed. As a result, they deduced that they would not fight a battle. They returned all their weapons and came back with their leader, ZXIOXZ. They would see the people and see the planet as a whole.

After their long search, they found an earth being.

“Look at that strange looking being of this planet. I’m not really sure if it’s a male or female. This planet’s people have rectangular solid shape and having a shiny skin and a tail. It seems that it’s connected to the wall. Maybe it’s how they share energy in this planet. They have two hollow and elongated eyes on top of his rectangular body. It’s rather odd that it has a movable nose on one of its sides.” QIX said.

Then ZIQ asked: “What kind of people are this? Will they allow us to conquer their planet?’

“Hopefully, these are friendly people, they seem to be silent. Since we came, it only made a soft buzzing sound. Maybe it’s how they communicate. These creatures are somewhat weird. When their nose goes down. Their eyes slowly turn orange and the white in the middle of their eyes appear to be brownish. Don’t you worry my people; we will conquer this planet no matter what happens (!),” answered ZXIOXZ.

The other aliens cheered; “This planet will be ours!”

What happened next terrified the creatures of the nth galaxy. They panicked. ZXIOXZ, being the leader that he is, told his people to remain calm.

QIX said in a nervous tone: “Let us retreat! The white in its eyes is going to gobble us up! Let us retreat to our galaxy!’

ZIQ countered: “What will we do? We are under attack! The white thing coming from his eyes just popped out. The hideous creature is attacking us. We have no weapons.”

ZXIOXZ saying in a frightened tone: “Let us not panic. We have it outnumbered.”

Out of fear, chaos and panic, many of these aliens changed their shapes. Some of them copied the shape of boxes, stars, circles and others but the white thing coming from the creatures was still going towards them. Forced to retreat ZXIOXZ told his warriors to go back to the nth galaxy. Being really scared, the troops had to fight for their survival even if it would mean the death of some of them.

ZXIOXZ, in an alarmed manner told his men: “Let us forget our ambition to conquer this planet. There are still a lot of planets, which we can conquer rather than this one. A planet of hostile and rude people… Let us leave this planet in peace.”

These extra-terrestrial beings were able to return to their galaxy but they were in a state of shock. More than one-fourth of their total population died on their way back to the nth galaxy. These creatures will have to face the stigma of failure and maybe… just maybe… They will forget their ambition to expand their domain.

For now, Earth is once again safe from alien invaders. The plan of ZXIOXZ to conquer our planet was foiled… by would you believe… A BREAD TOASTER.
